The 2013 - 2014 School Year is in full swing!

It is already October! Hard to imagine that just short few weeks ago the school started. Take a look at what some of our key moments with this school year looked like:

The school supplies arrived to our front door via UPS from FLVS.  Four boxes for four students.  :)

This is what the contents of one of the boxes looked like.  These are this year's school supplies sent to our 3rd grade student, Kristian.

Then it is time to study.  Here is an example of a Live Lesson.  A Live lesson is, just like the name suggests, a lesson done in real time.  Where the teacher and students meet in the school portal at the same time.  The teacher teaches via web-camera and demonstrates issues on the interactive "white board".  The students participate actively.  They chat, talk and demonstrate too.  The live lessons usually last about an hour per class.

"A Circulatory System In A Petri Dish" lesson at Johns Hopkins University's CTY program in UC San Diego.  Jasmin and her peers taking notes.

Jeremia doing a Stanford EPGY lesson.
